Born and raised in Panama City, I (Kim) started working in the well drilling business in the mid 80s. From there, I transitioned to a position at an irrigation supply company before becoming a manager for the same company. After a few years in management, I had the opportunity to work by the beach and oversaw a large landscape install at the Holiday Inn, which included a gorgeous waterfall around the pool.

I then started my own business called Genesis Landscaping in the early 90s and we did so many projects during that time I can hardly remember them all!

Eventually, the business evolved into Emerald Coast Landscaping and my daughter, Rebekah, grew up in the business with me. She worked for a horticulturist for a couple years that gave her fantastic experience and education, which we’re proud to have in our company.

Within our fantastic team, we have over 40 years of combined experience. We look forward to working with you!
