A Family Business, Rooted in Panama City

Our Story

Hey there, I’m Kim! I’m proud to say that Emerald Coast Landscaping is more than just a business, it’s a family tradition built right here in Panama City. I started working in the well drilling business back in the mid-80s, getting my hands dirty and learning the value of hard work from the ground up — literally. From there, I transitioned into the irrigation supply world, eventually managing a supply company and helping customers bring their outdoor projects to life.

A few years later, I had the opportunity to work by the beach, overseeing a large landscaping project at the Holiday Inn, including a beautiful waterfall installation around the pool. That project lit a spark in me — I realized I loved building outdoor spaces that people could enjoy.

Over time, Genesis evolved into Emerald Coast Landscaping, and it became even more of a family affair when my daughter, Rebekah, officially joined me. Rebekah grew up around landscaping and later gained valuable experience working for a professional horticulturist, deepening her knowledge and love for plant life and landscape design. She brings that expertise into everything we do today.

Today, with over 40 years of combined experience in landscaping, irrigation, design, and construction, our small team is proud to serve homeowners and businesses across Panama City, Panama City Beach, 30A, Freeport, Defuniak Springs, Chipley, and Bonifay.
